About Dr. Donna D. Montgomery

Dr. Donna D. Montgomery is the founder, president, and senior advocate of Pathways Special Education Advocacy, which serves the Orlando and Tampa Florida, area. She and her staff of educational advocates have more than 27 years of experience in the field of special education and have a strong understanding of federal and state special education laws and regulations.

Military and Educational Background

After serving more than 24 years in the US Army, Dr. Montgomery devoted her life to teaching parents about their children's educational rights while understanding that the special education laws continually evolve. She earned a Doctorate in exceptional education from Nova Southeastern University in 2004 and a Master of Education in curriculum and  instruction from National-Louis University in 1998.

Committed To Her Work

Dr. Montgomery is committed to providing educational planning for students with specific learning disabilities, autism, and emotional and speech impairments. She also works with lawyers, teachers, and related service providers, as well as mental health agencies and school districts to provide services, placement, and support for children with disabilities.
